Carol joins Carpenters Group following five years at Slater and Gordon in Liverpool, where she was Principal Lawyer and Head of Brain and Spinal Injuries. Carol has 25 years of extensive experience as a personal injury lawyer specialising in cases of clients with a brain, spinal, amputation injuries, and fatal accidents.
In her new role, Carol will have overall responsibility for leading the Serious and Catastrophic Injury team which is now based in Carpenters Liverpool office. She will also join the Operating Board of the Group.
Carol is also the founding trustee and secretary of Headway Sefton, a branch of the UK-wide charity that works to improve life affected by a brain injury. She is passionate about working with brain injury survivors and their families and dedicates her spare time to help local charitable organisations, schools and the police with their fundraising efforts and training activities.
Carol obtained her Law Degree from Liverpool John Moores University and Chester College of Law and is currently a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). She is also listed as a leading individual for Claimant Litigation in The Legal 500 and in Chambers and Partners.
